From 26 to 28 June 2026, Mauritius’ east coast will once again become the epicentre of kiteboarding, music and beach culture as the C Kite Festival returns for its highly anticipated fifth edition. Hosted at C Mauritius Palmar, the event has evolved into one of the island’s most exciting lifestyle festivals, attracting professional riders, ocean enthusiasts and travellers from around the world.
Created in collaboration with renowned kitesurfer and ocean advocate Antoine Auriol, the festival offers a unique blend of high-performance sport and laid-back island living. More than a competition, it is a celebration of freedom, connection and the energy of the ocean, where professional athletes and passionate amateurs share the water and the experience.

This year’s line-up features some of the sport’s biggest names, including Big Air World Champion Lorenzo Casati, 2024 World Champion Zara Hoogenraad, freestyle sensation Giel Vlugt, five-time British Champion Hannah Whiteley, French record-holder Clément Huot and Mauritian favourite Louka Pitot.
Over three action-packed days, guests can enjoy spectacular kiteboarding sessions, live music, sunset gatherings and vibrant beach parties. A festival highlight will be the iconic downwind ride from Palmar to Poste Lafayette, showcasing the breathtaking beauty of Mauritius’ coastline.
Adding a new dimension to the programme, the festival will introduce the island’s first-ever Kite By Night experience, with illuminated kites transforming the night sky into a dazzling display of light, movement and creativity.
Set against the backdrop of turquoise lagoons and tropical landscapes, the C Kite Festival 2026 promises an unforgettable celebration of sport, adventure and island lifestyle, firmly cementing its place as one of the Indian Ocean’s most distinctive annual events.
