From 1 November, lunch at Mont Rochelle moves outdoors, with a blanket among the vines and views across the Franschhoek valley. The basket celebrates local, garden-grown ingredients. Think cheese and charcuterie with freshly baked bread, beef skewers with homemade braai sauce, fish cakes with tomato smoortjie and a home-baked mini cake to finish. Pair it with the estate’s own wines.
Open to all daily, 12pm to 5pm. R490 per basket for two, R295 per child’s basket. Bookings essential.
