Fired up with new year resolutions, Melville Koppies was buzzing on Sunday 11 January. Some visitors joined the guided tour, others flocked to the storytelling while many just took in the beautiful day and explored the numerous trails and views. The grasses are seeding with plenty of flowers adding colour to the greenness of the surrounds.
Choose from various activities: self-guide yourselves or trail run the many trails, test yourself on the 5km hike, learn more about nature and the history of the Koppies by taking the heritage trail or book a guided tour to find out more (072 348 0578). Don’t forget the monthly activities – 2nd Sunday of the month storytelling (next one 8 Feb), last Sunday of the month guided 8km hike (next one 25 Jan).
