A little piece of Chelsea is coming to the Overberg this spring. From 12–27 September 2026, Stanford in Bloom will showcase South Africa’s gold-winning RHS Chelsea Flower Show exhibit, Life After Fire.
Created by botanist Leon Kluge and artist Tristan Woudberg, the celebrated installation captures the remarkable rebirth of fynbos following wildfire, transforming a story of destruction into one of colour, resilience and hope.
The two-week festival will also bring markets, talks, workshops and live music to Stanford, celebrating the Cape Floral Kingdom at its most spectacular. Proceeds will support the Grootbos Foundation and its community and conservation initiatives.
