Pink Trees For Pauline Needs Your Stories Of Hope

Pink Trees for Pauline

In 2012 the non-profit company ‘Pink Trees for Pauline’ was founded, and one woman’s dream became a larger-than-life project which astounds every year.

Wrapped in love, united in hope, Pink Trees for Pauline is more than a bright pink cloth wrapped snuggly around a tree during October. It’s a reminder that whatever your cancer might be, we’re all survivors, warriors and symbols of hope.

As Cancer Awareness Month draws to a close we continue to hold those near and dear to us, who are still fighting this battle with cancer, or who may have lost their battle. However, all is not lost as there are many who have won this battle and continue to do so. With the advancement in medical research our battles are turning into triumphs. Not only through the help of modern medicine, but the gift of hope and support of others.

Not only is the brain a myriad of wonders, but it is a gift of hope. If your mind is positive you can achieve so much. Draw on the strength and positive energy to get you through life’s hardship, and it is with this that Pink Trees For Pauline is asking you to help.

We are calling on all to share their stories of triumph over cancer. With your permission we’ll create a compendium of stories, to share with those who may not have hope. A powerful gift which can change and touch the lives of so many. A source of inspiration for those who need it most.

Stories can be submitted to MD Adri Janse van Niewenhuizen at adri@pinktrees.co.za from 1 to 30 November 2024, and one story will be randomly selected to receive a gift of thanks.

In the words of the late Christopher Reeve, “Once you choose hope, anything’s possible.” Let’s choose hope.
