Embark on a cultural journey at the third edition of the FRANCOPHONIE FOOD & CULTURAL FESTIVAL, on Saturday 16 March, from 10 am until 17pm, at the picturesque Belgian Residence, 29 Boshof Avenue, Newlands.
The FRANCOPHONIE FOOD & CULTURAL FEST is organized by the Consulate General of Belgium, the Consulate General of France, Wallonia Export- Investment Agency (AWEX), Wallonia-Bruxelles International and Belgian Chamber of Commerce Southern Africa (BCCSA), with support and participation of the French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI), the Consulate General of Switzerland, the Consulate General of Romania, the Consulate of Greece, the Honorary Consulate of Mauritius, and representations Madagascar, DRC communities along with many other French-speaking countries.

The Francophonie Food and Culture Fest forms part of the celebrations of Francophone Month, offering a plethora of family-friendly and complimentary events. This annual extravaganza unites Francophones and Francophiles alike to honour the diverse cultures intertwined with the French language. Africa takes centre stage with the largest number of French speakers globally, with 120 million individuals across 24 countries!
Besides the food & culture festival, a myriad of events await in Cape Town and Franschhoek throughout March, brought to you in collaboration with local organizations, French-speaking consulates, and cultural hubs.
