Award-winning playwright Geraldine Aron delivers her now refreshed and updated international comedy hit, My Brilliant Divorce, at Theatre On The Bay from 31 October until 16 November.
This brilliantly observed one-woman play, starring the inimitable Kate Normington, is a tour-de-force performance exploring the tragically comic world of the newly divorced, tracking one woman’s three-year path through a pending divorce after 20 or so years of marriage.
It is a story richly populated by multiple characters, all played by Normington.
Currently on stage at Montecasino, in Johannesburg, the show will soon transfer to Cape Town.
Directed by Alan Committee, this script is both funny and tragic and will resonate with anyone who’s lived through a break-up.
