Celebrate the Spirit of Easter at Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff

Johannesburg’s most elevated address welcomes families with indulgent dining experiences and luxurious Easter weekend stays

Easter is a time of reflection, renewal, and—most importantly—reconnection with family and close friends. This April, Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff invites guests to gather, give thanks, and savour the moment with a curated selection of Easter weekend experiences from Friday 18 April to Sunday 20 April 2025.

Set against the backdrop of Johannesburg’s most iconic hilltop views, the Hotel’s signature restaurant, Flames, becomes the setting for two extraordinary culinary events open to both hotel guests and local visitors.

The Easter weekend begins with an unforgettable culinary journey at the hotel’s signature  Flames Restaurant with a seafood soirée, on Good Friday, 18 April. Priced at R1450* per person, this indulgent Mediterranean Seafood Lunch Buffet is a celebration of the ocean’s finest, prepared with contemporary elegance and served with sweeping views of Johannesburg’s treetops. Guest’s palates can explore the sun-kissed flavours of the Mediterranean, from fragrant Spanish seafood paella with chorizo and buttery Gambas al Ajillo, to perfectly braaied octopus pulpo and delicate Saldanha Bay oysters, elevated with champagne granita and caviar. The feast continues with a sweet finale featuring pistachio baklava, silky crema catalana, and a festive twist on tradition—hot cross panna cotta.

On Easter Sunday, 20 April, guests are invited to gather with their loved ones for a Latin-Inspired brunch, where the joy of the season comes alive through bold flavours, warm laughter and unforgettable moments. Priced at R1450* per person, this vibrant celebration blends the richness of Latin cuisine with the spirit of family togetherness. Savour mouthwatering highlights like cumin-spiced Wagyu beef buttock, adobo suckling pig, and whole roasted seabass with salsa verde, alongside decadent delights such as West Coast lobster in orzo pasta, dark chocolate malva pudding, and cinnamon-infused pastéis de nata. Guests can sweeten the experience with a live churro bar drizzled in Amarula soft serve, or indulge at the Crêpe Suzette station flamed with Malfy Rosa Gin. Meanwhile, little ones will be enchanted by an Easter egg hunt in the hotel gardens, cheerful face painting, and a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny himself.

Afternoon Tea Au Chocolat

Indulge in a decadent twist on a timeless tradition with the launch of Afternoon Tea Au Chocolat, served on the elegant View Terrace from Friday to Sunday, starting 17 April 2025.

Set to the soothing sounds of a live violinist and surrounded by a vibrant hues of the autumn leaves on the tree canopy below, this chocolate-inspired tea experience is a feast for the senses. Guests are welcomed with a rose MCC and a playful chilli chocolate bomb, before diving into a beautifully curated menu featuring chocolate chip buttermilk scones, dark chocolate opera cake, and white chocolate bon bons, alongside savoury delights like bobotie tartare on house-made vetkoek and saffron egg sandwiches with caviar.

With two seating times daily (12h00–14h00 and 15h00–17h00) and a dress code that encourages vibrant florals and smart elegance, this is the ultimate way to toast to the season of renewal—one luxurious bite at a time.

An Easter Escape – A Stay to Remember For those seeking a serene Easter escape, the hotel offers a special Easter Weekend Stay Package that includes luxurious accommodation and access to both the Good Friday and Easter Sunday dining experiences at Flames. Designed for couples, families, or multigenerational gatherings, the offer is an invitation to pause and reconnect in Johannesburg’s most tranquil urban sanctuary.
